2026 Spring FTX Trip

Date: Apr. 10 - Apr. 12
Our cadets are heading out for their FTX (Field Training Exercises) trip at the weekend, and we need your help! We are seeking screened volunteers to join us for a few hours or the full weekend. Whether it’s helping with gear or assisting the staff, your presence makes a huge difference. If you are cleared to volunteer and want to support the squadron, please reply to this message for more details!

2026 May FTX Trip

Date: May 22 - May 24
During the FTX trip in May, cadets will have the opportunity to practice and demonstrate what they learned during Spring FTX Training. It is also a great opportunity for parents to witness their cadets' achievements.

Annual Ceremonial Review (ACR)

Date: June 09 Training night
During the Annual Ceremonial Review, volunteers ensure the event runs smoothly for cadets, guests, and parents through the following roles:

1, Guest Management: Greeting and directing guests, distributing event programs, and assisting with seating.
2, Event Logistics: Setting up the venue and parade square, arranging seating (including reserved seating for dignitaries), managing decorations, and directing VIP parking.
3, Food Service: Coordinating refreshment service or a reception for guests and cadets following the formal ceremony.
4, Media & Photography: Capturing photos of award recipients and the parade for the squadron newsletter and social media.

2026 Abbotsford International AIRSHOW

Date: Aug. 7 - Aug. 9
We need parent volunteers (ages 19+, screened or un screened) to help with traffic and parking. With a larger team, we can pair everyone up with a partner, making the work light and ensuring everyone has plenty of time for breaks to enjoy the show, food and music.

Support Your Squadron:
Every volunteer who joins us helps the Squadron earn additional funding! The more volunteers we have, the more compensation we receive for our active funds—helping us provide even better experiences for our cadets.

Perks of Volunteering:
1, Gourmet Catering: Located in Hangar 13, we will be providing delicious meals via their food truck.
2, Exclusive Gear: All volunteers receive a free T-shirt (please specify your size during sign up!).
3, Entertainment: Enjoy a live band, meet the performers, and relax with a selection of adult beverages.
4, Easy Access: Free volunteer parking is available right next to the sign-in tent.

Flexible Scheduling:
Sign up for Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. As a bonus, if you volunteer on Friday, you can keep your pass to come back and enjoy the festivities as a guest on Saturday or Sunday!
