Field Training Exercise (FTX)
FTX are essential components of the Canadian Air Cadets' training program. These exercises are designed to provide cadets with practical, experiential learning in a controlled outdoor environment.

The exercises typically include:
1, Survival Skills: Cadets learn to build shelters, collect water, build fires, signal fires, read maps, and use compasses.
2, Teamwork and Leadership: Exercises promote teamwork and leadership development through hands-on activities.
3, Physical Fitness: The outdoor environment helps improve cadets' physical fitness and confidence.
Fun and Fun: FTXs are designed to be fun and challenging, providing cadets with memorable experiences.
FTXs are conducted twice a year, focusing on different cadet levels and providing opportunities for cadets to overcome fears and build character. These exercises are a key part of the cadet training program and are essential for the development of the next generation of Air Cadets.
